Extra Credit (Poem Reflection)
All the poems that I read were very unique in their own way. Each poem had a personality of its own and took a different stand point of love. Each poem either express or represented something meaningful and valuable. The poems were heartfelt and stimulated me to think. Thes poems made you view love from many different aspects and it also created an opportunity for a class discussion. I gave me the chance to listen to other people's point of view of love and alllowed me to share mine. The poems more so came from a males pespective but not neglecting the female perspective. I think it boiled down to this; Love has many aspects and is viewed differently through the eyes of people whether male or female. But I believe Love is what you want it to be and what you choose is what you get whether it be you settling for someone who is not good enough for you or you finding your soulmate and being with that person is the best feeling in the world. Yea there will be challenges and there will be times where that Love that you have is tested, but how you choose to react will determine how strong that Love was. There's a saying that says a good thing must go through the fire to know if it will stand. So Love is not as easy amd smoothe as people EXPECT it to be and I think that is the biggest problem today. People expect Love to be nice and easy all the time everyday but when it doesn't turn out that way then the generalize Love and say that Love is pain and all that other stuff. But I say GOD is Love and he Loves you and me.

Reflection 4
To inquire means to seek information by questioning. People who want to know something or are curious about something usually ask questions. That is the core of Inquiry-Based Learning. This style of learning encourages the students to ask questions to get a better understanding of the lesson. Asking questions open the door or bridges the gap that the student may have. Inquiry-Based Learning provides the student with the opportunity to further their knowledge; building on what they already know. To inquire implies that the student was involved in some type of activity and that, is another major part of this learning style. Inquiry-Based Learning permits the student to be involved. The fact that the student is asking questions is evidence that they are interested and the teacher has their attention. Inquiry-Based Learning allows freedom and tells you that the student’s mind is stimulated and they are thinking. Asking questions usually imply that your thought process is going. In this thought process, the student reflects, contemplates and tries to make sense of the lesson or topic at hand. The one thing that I absolutely love about Inquiry-Based Learning is that there are no limitations. The student is free to ask any question that comes to mind. Another great thing about Inquiry-Based Learning is that it does not only apply to school. Anyone can use it, whether it is a child, teens, and adults. All in all, Inquiry-Based Learning has a lot of advantages, it allows the student to feel like a student and it keeps the student interacted and involved. Asking questions is the heart of Inquiry-Based Learning.

Reflection 3
Constructivist Lesson. Plan
The constructivist lesson plan is basically learning through problem solving. This lesson plan consists of six steps that is learner centered, in order to solve the problem. What I mean by learner centered is that the constructivist lesson plan believes that you construct your own knowledge; so it sets up an environment for the students where they can expand on what they already know to solve a problem, and the constructivist lesson plan uses six steps to successfully solve the problem at hand. The first step is called situation. The teacher creates a situation or a problem for the students to solve. The second step is called groupings and in this step the teacher is to divide the students into groups and is to assign each group a specific part of the topic at hand. In this step the students have a chance to collaborate their ideas and brainstorm within that group to come up with the end result. The third step is called bridging and in this step the teacher is using what the student already knows and is connecting it to what he/she wants them to learn. The fourth step is called questions, the step in which I believe is the heart of this lesson reason being this lesson is a thought base lesson and one way that you can guarantee that someone is thinking is when questions are asked. This step allows the students as well as the teacher to ask questions. The teacher may answer the question without actually giving the student the answer, once again forcing the students to think. The fifth step is called exhibit and in this step the student or group is given the opportunity to share their thoughts with the other classmates through a presentation or something in that fashion. The last step is called reflections in which the student thinks about the entire process that he/she just went through to solve the problem. Hence, another step to enhance thinking or construct their knowledge even further based on what they have learned. This lesson plan allows the student to work on his/her own and not be so dependent on the teacher. In the constructivist lesson plan the teacher is there to assist and supervise while the students solve the problem on their own.

Reflection 2
The Behaviorist lesson plan is an eight step lesson plan designed for the teacher, so that he/she may be able to see the change in behavior of the student. The Constructivist lesson plan is a six step lesson plan designed also for the teacher, and it enables them to get the student to explain a specific situation. There are eight steps to the behaviorist lesson plan and it is relatively different from the six steps to the consructivist lesson plan. Step one in the behaviorist lesson plan is Purpose/Objective; what is the intention of the lesson. The first step of the constructivist lesson plan is situation; what situation is the teacher going to come up with for the students to explain. Notice that the behaviorist plan is more reflective as appose to the contructivist plan which in more jumping right into the planning. The second step of the behaviorist plan is more like an icebreaker, to get the student's full attention before the teacher begins the actual lesson. The construtivist lesson plan's next step leaps right ino grouping the students then bridging, which is an activity to make a connection between the student’s prior knowledge and what the teacher wants them to learn by explaining the situation. The behaviorist plan then uses vocabulary, skills, and concepts to finally get the lesson started, once the lesson is started, the teacher will model what the end of the lesson should look like. The constructivist plan allows the student to be more free, not giving specific instructions but does give guidelines. The constructivist plan's next step is questioning. A method used to tie in all of the previous steps while setting up for the steps to come. The teacher is leading the students every step of the way in the behaviorist plan as oppose to the constructivist plan where the teacher is not always in the picture. The behaviorist plan then goes into a guided practice where the teacher leads the students through the necessary steps to perform the skill. Then it checks for understanding using questions. Then finally the teacher permits the student to perform the skills by themselves and lastly the teacher closes the lesson by reviewing all the material in the lesson. The constructivist lesson plan's fifth step requires the student to create an exhibit to present to explain to others what their thought process was as they explained the situation and the last step is reflection. This is where the student basically express their thoughts on how they felt while presenting and how they felt about the exhibits of their peers. The Behaviorist lesson plan is a more supervised, step by step lesson plan that doesn't allow the student to really be on their own and cares more about the student completing the assignment. The constructivist lesson plan is more open and it leaves room for creativity of the student. It allows the student to work in groups and the teacher is not so protective. But both lesson plans get the point accross.
Reflection 1
A lesson plan is basically a structured plan that a teacher uses for a specific topic to guide them through the school year. The lesson plan is an organized document that the teacher puts together that contains all the instructions, topics, and assignments that will be discussed throughout the school year. The lesson plan allows the instructor as well as the students to be ready for class ahead of time. The lesson plan must also meet certain requirements depending on what school you work for, what grade level you are going to teach, and the state that you teach in. The lesson plan is also very detailed but also leaves room for correction and creativity. Now creating a lesson plan is not easy because as the teacher, you have so many things to keep into consideration. For example, you have to consider the age group and your style of delivery. You also have to consider time in terms of class length and topic length. The lesson plan is there to help the teacher teach an organized lesson and keep him/her on track with the lesson that is going to be taught. If the teacher is unorganized then the students will definitely reflect it. The lesson plan allows the instructor to be creative with the delivery of the lesson to the students. After teaching for almost two years and being a student almost all my life, I’ve come to realize that students love to learn in new ways. The traditional reading the chapter and taking a test is not the best method. Kids like to have fun and the lesson plan allows you to bring that fun, friendly environment into the classroom regardless of the age. The lesson plan should have certain objectives as well as goals. The lesson plan is here to help the instructor teach the lesson effectively and he/she will know that they have been effective if they accomplished their goals or have seen their students accomplish the goals that they had set for their students. As a teacher, your lesson plan should cause you to ask yourself certain questions, which are considered to be your objectives. For instance, will the worksheet enable the students to learn how to work in a group effectively? These type of questions stimulate the teacher to double check the lesson plan and gives them the opportunity to enhance it. The lesson plan gives the instructor the chance to imagine exactly how the class is going to be and the lesson plan helps the teacher flow a lot more because they know in what direction they want to take the class. The lesson plan gives the teacher the feeling of control.
Bio and Statement and Purpose
My name is Naomie Pierre-Toussaint and I am a 19 year old assertive, effective, strongminded individual. I was born in Brooklyn, NewYork and lived there till I was ten years old. I have six brothers and four sisters. I also have six nephews and four nieces. As you can see I was born into a big family, a family of which helped me to become who I am today. Growing up, I didn't have much and life was a struggle all the time. That is why today I strive rise above my past and not let it define my future. I am a firm believer in JESUS CHRIST. I attend the North Miami Church of the Nazarene and I teach the youth (ages 13-17) sunday school class. I was one who always enjoyed help and seizing any opportunity I had to teach someone something, whether it be cooking, dancing, singing techniques, or a math skill. I also loved the company of children because they are so filled with life and in some form or fashion it made me stronger and motivated me to continue on my journey that I call life. But I never saw myself as a teacher until a fellow sunday school teacher mentioned it to me. I gave it alot of thought and seeked alot of advice and in the end, I discovered that teaching was a burning passion of mine. That is why I chose to pursue a career in the education field and the best part about it is, I am doing something that I love to do with a support team behind me. I am in a relationship and I am happy with they way things are. I am blessed and I feel like I can conquer any obstacle that may come my way. With GOD on my side I know I will succeed.

Extra Credit
Two gnomes dance the celebratory hopaky
I do agree with what you see. A lot of times these pictures usually have a subliminal message hidden in it and nine times out of ten it represents much more than what the actual picture is showing.
The womb (7)
I see two swords on one handle. To me the picture is saying there are always two sides to the story. In correlation to the vagina, in life you have to make a lot of choices and I believe the vagina depicts the human mentality sometimes.
A butterfly abreast two slender maids a-touching
Wow! Very impressive poem. I do agree with your point of view on this one. It makes sense. Butterflies are very delicate creatures and the part about the promise of the bitter taste is represented in the photo. Something so beautiful but can be a threat.
